Pro and Con Sheet Creator: Create a “pro and con” sheet on the scheduled topic, laying out the arguments on both sides. Make it one or two pages only, and email it to Mr. Tompkins (dtompkins@naperville203.org) by the time you go to bed Thursday night OR turn it in to Mr. Tompkins’ desk in the Comm. Arts office Friday morning so that he can make photocopies for that afternoon’s meeting.

Video clip finder: Find short YouTube clips, on each side of the issue, which will generate discussion. Put the number of minutes and seconds each film clip takes in parenthesis after the URL address. Example: Prolife: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O2l1-kvKomg (4:31) Ideally, find clips that are balanced, both in terms of their persuasiveness/authority on the issue and in terms of length. NOTE: Keep the clips short for a total of about 10-15 minutes total maximum for the clips. Email the clips to Mr. Tompkins (dtompkins@naperville203.org) before you go to bed Thursday night.
